Biography

Hello, my name is Jami Adelman. I am the library media specialist at Masters Elementary. I teach all students, kindergarten through fifth grade, three times every cycle. During two of our classes each cycle, students learn library, reading, inquiry, and research skills. They also check out library books during this time. Additionally, for one class each cycle, students learn technology skills in the computer lab.

My husband Mike and I recently moved from Grand Island to Omaha so I could accept my first library media specialist position and take advantage of the various opportunities for entertainment and culture that the city offers. This is my second year in the library, and my previous eight years of teaching was as a high school English teacher in a small central Nebraska school. We could not be happier with our decision to make the move to Omaha. Go Monarchs!
