Biography

Hello, my name is Chelsa Hervert. I am the Instructional Facilitator and Academic Data Representative (ADR) at Masters Elementary. As an instructional facilitator, I work cooperatively with the principal and teachers in the development and implementation of the school improvement plan. I actively participate in professional development to deepen my knowledge in the area of curriculum and instruction. I work with teachers to assure that lesson plans are aligned to school goals, incorporate best practices, and include accommodations to meet the students’ needs. I plan and facilitate professional development activities as they relate to the school improvement plan and I support and guide teachers in implementing a variety of teaching techniques that reflect best practices. As the ADR, I ensure data is collected, analyzed and communicated to continually evaluate the school's progress in attaining school improvement goals.

My husband, Jim and I have two daughters: Lucy (11) and Molly (7). The girls keep us busy going to soccer games and other school and sporting events. We love traveling to the mountains, watching Chiefs and Nebraska football and spending time outdoors.
