I am the Intermediate BSP teacher here at Masters Elementary and teach the third, fourth and fifth grade.I have been involved and/or taught BSP for 11+ years in a variety of settings, Middle, High and now Elementary. Through small groups, my classroom is about building relationships, trust, and to individualize the curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of my students. My goal is to assist them to develop appropriate behavior, coping skills and social skills so they can achieve the outcomes necessary to move forward with their education and life challenges. This is my first year at Masters Elementary and I'm looking forward to my 2nd year. Go Monarchs!!!!
I’ve lived in Omaha my entire life. I worked as a supervisor at AT&T/Lucent Technologies here in Omaha, upon it"s closing, I took two years off. I later decided to followed my dream to teach, in hope of making a different in young peoples lives. I returned to school and received my Master degree in Special Education. I love what I do and look forward to seeing my students every day. I'm married to a wonderful man and we have 4 beautiful children, 2 boys and 2 girls who make me very proud.
